This set contains well-sized samples of rocks and minerals, sure to delight the budding geologist. The samples are numbered rather than labeled with the specimen's name, and the accompanying book identifies them. It arrived on time and as described.The only reason I didn't give this product five stars is that the manufacturer must really list the specimens in its product description; there are a lot of collections for sale out there, and collectors want to know what they are actually getting so they don't end up with duplicates.

This set offers a little of everything. The specimens are a skilled mass to soubriquet and the box is sturdy. It comes including a minimal paper handbook so I ordered the National Geographic paper in trade to add to it.
