Based on the reviews I had read here I felt i was actually having a bet with this order but I am very happy with it. The size of the model heart is slightly better than a man's clenched fist. For individual use it's just right. If you are going to hold it up to show a classroom of broadcast it would be a modest small.It is made from a flexible material, just like the ones in the doctors personnel. In addition to the actual heart structure, about 2" of aorta, pulmonary artery and stuck-up vena cava extend from the top of the model.The exterior surface has molded-in detail (coronary arteries etc.) which are also painted. The model without stand weighs just shy of half a pound. The removable cover is meticulous on the surrounded by as well as the outside. The cover has a built in steel alignment pin which holds it in place.It comes with a well-built fake stand for spectacle purposes.The only minor negative that I have found is with the documentation. There is a booklet with full color illustrations of the model and each part has a lettered call-out. That letter corresponds to a additional page containing a key, listing the names of the parts of the heart. While this may be a useful difficult tool, I found it inconvenient to flip back and forth from illustration to the key while I was learning the parts. I actually wrote in the names on the illustration to make it easier.

loved it. its tiny but it facility. I FOUND IT VERY USEFUL WITH THE sensitivity poster. IT MAKES IT EASY TO dredge up in check over of the fact that i can solely preview on my roadblock at nighttime to examine.
