I purchased the Straw Launcher Piece 35783 for my classroom. A fake tube was warped that made the launcher unusable. I contacted Pitsco for a replacement tube The technical service representative told me that they will not aid and that I call for to return to Amazon. This is the only manufacture that I know of that will not stand behind their product. Do not buy Pitsco through Amazon.

Pitsco Straw Rockets - Getting Started Package (For 30 Students)
The Pitsco 35783 Straw Rockets Getting Started Package includes the Pitsco 35784 Straw Rockets Class Pack for 30 Students, the Pitsco 20426 Straw Rocket Launcher, and the Pitsco 59993 Straw Rockets Video DVD for teaching introductory rocketry to students in grades K-12. The Pitsco Straw Rocket Class Pack contains straws, modeling dirt, and cardstock for a hands-on activity for 30 students in grades K-12 to design and build four model straw rockets each that demonstrate the scientific concepts of force, projectile motion, center of gravity, initial velocity, aerodynamics, and introductory rocketry. Each class pack contains precision straws for the rocket body, modeling dirt in a variety of colors for the rocket nose, and cardstock for the rocket fins. Students design, build, and modify model straw rockets, experimenting including different rocket lengths, nose weights, and fin designs. Assembled including scissors, ruler, and transparent tape, the straw rocket activity introduces students to the principles of rocketry and reinforces engineering, equipment, and math concepts. Designed to be launched indoors, straw rockets are a year-round, all-weather activity. A straw rocket kit is typically used in an educational setting to demonstrate rocketry, physics, and aerodynamics.
The Straw Rocket Launcher uses pneumatic force to launch straw rockets and allows students to adjust the trajectory slant and launch force. It is designed to be used in a generous, inside area, such as a gymnasium. The launcher corrupt is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for strength and stability, and it supports the pneumatic launch tube, the weighted drop rod in the cylinder, and the adjustable trajectory slant gauge. The force of the launch can be controlled by varying the release height of the weighted drop rod, marked in centimeters on the rod. The trajectory slant can be adjusted 90 degrees in either direction. The launcher measures 25 x 9 x 11 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to in trade.) The 31-minute Straw Rockets Video DVD is closed captioned and in NTSC plan, provides information about building and launching straw rockets, and includes instructions about how to maintain the rocket launcher for a comprehensive straw rocket project.
Construction of straw rockets requires scissors, ruler, and transparent tape (all sold separately).
Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, equipment, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-planet applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.
Pitsco Education develops K-12 science, equipment, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum, educational kits, and classroom tools. The company, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Pittsburg, KS.
