We purchased these kits to build with 24 7-9 year olds. The parts are high quality. We chose this rocket since it was white, allowing the kids to decorate them with sharpie markers. I also like that this kit uses full size motors, a fake fin unit, and a parachute. I also like that there is not anything that snaps collectively.I think this rocket is the exact foundation to start youth on the model rocketry.

I bought this kit for my son's 9th birthday have fun.We had 12 kids all construction and decorating their rockets including markers and the built-in decals. Overall, the kids did call for aid cold the tiny gash for the engine screened-off area but the surplus was not TOO bad for gathering.
