This is an amazing little machine. Lubricate it a bit, but some alcohol in the fuel container, light it up, give it a spin and the engine starts to spin faster and faster. Put it on the stump and it chugs away from you. Be careful, this could burn your house down.I wish there was a way to steer it remotely. Also the alcohol is a bit messy because it escapes from the container and the fire gets a little out of control. i hear sterno force be better.

Inspired by a trip to a 19th century manufacturing museum, I got this as a gift for a nerdy friend who works as a mechanical engineer idea that the scarce scenery of a small external combustion engine, primarily a Stirling engine, would be fascinating to him. The application of passage from the power bent by the engine is a cool bonus that adds a wow look for anyone who sees this thing in surgical course of action. We first tried it with a small jack-o-lantern candle and to be sure the engine churned along at a good rate, then when we let the wheels touch impose a curfew the car took off accelerating to unevenly a walking speed but then it slowed down as the wind bent the flame and cooled the glass almost the power piston. This in fact made for a protection feature in the sense that an abandoned fire burning car driving crosswise the house is abstractedly confusing at first. Next we tried the included lamp with 91% isopropyl alcohol and the engine after a brief warmup roared to life churning at a great speed, and when allowable to roll on the impose a curfew, accelerated and sped away with ample heat to continue going fast until it ran out of floor space very than heat. It's stunning how much power can be consequential from a release flame, primarily when no effort has been taken to make the most of efficiency with insightful heat shrouds or sinks. My friend said this was one of the coolest gifts he'd ever expected and when he took it into work his co-staff were amazed and intrigued by the little Stirling car that could. It's clear that the effective parts are machined with great precision and feature even if the non-powered wheels came with one issue: The axle is held to the stilted base by some impression cases and brackets and the impression cases had slid out of the brackets causing the axle to vibrate. Once these were reinserted into their brackets the issue was resolved and hasn't resurfaced. It should be evident that with the fire and burn risk this apparatus is totally inappropriate for a child or moron adult, but that aside, what a fantastic gift!

1) The manufactured goods performed as specified beautifully.2) However, as there is no steering, it can only go in a straight line.3) Provision of a wooden stand to let the wheels run would be inflicted including made it a "5"

facility most excellent including IPA as here is extra energy in it. i jack it up in anticipation of it gets skilled and hot b4 let it run. Runs on my tile baffle but not my carpet.

The sterling engine vehicle works impeccably and vigorously. I was exceptionally pleased including the quality of the workmanship and the materials used. This was a gift to my young grandson, and although it should be used including adult supervision for now, he greatly enjoys it. It is constructed to continue a time including genteel use, and will undoubtedly be loved by him for many being to occur.

Bought this item for a mechanical geek. Has always had steam powered gadgets and this was his initially Stirling engine. It was a blast watching this thing run across the floor at a positively decent clip. Just make sure the play is well supervised because it does have an open flame.

Awe-inspiring manufactured goods! Beautifully made and actually nice to look at. I bought their low temp ltd model as well that to is great.

This is a fantastic way to initiate broadcast to water supply ... hey, all-function adeptness. This is a great way to expose the planet to persons things that makes your noggin hurt. The muscles between your ears. That sorta business. Go.

I got this modest car as a birthday bestow for my partner. He loves cars and mechanical equipment, and it was a huge hit with him and his dad. It does go MUCH closer than it looks when it gets warmed up. We have had no harms with it. It comes with all you need apart from for roughness alcohol. The peddler even includes a modest spray bottle to make it easy to get the roughness alcohol into the dinghy jar. Runs very smoothly, fun to watch!

Beautiful craftmanship, this car will be treasured by my son for years to occur. He used a piece of velcro to secure the fuel tank. Will definetely buy more from this artisans pool. Thank you!

Sterling Engine Vehicle
The Stirling Engine is an External Incineration Engine (the excitement fund is further than the engine) and can aid any available fund of travelable excitement or coolness. It is a classic illustration of converting excitement energy into mechanical bring about by a thermodynamic cycle similar to the water supply-known Carnot cycle. In this explanation, though, the engine needs two pistons, a tiny potential piston and a better "dislocation piston" including the intention of also stores excitement energy. This Sterling engine is powered by a built-in alcohol lamp. This powers the steam engine which acts as the motor pro the 'car'. A extremely skilled visual demonstration of the conversion of excitement to mechanical energy. All Sterling engines are veteran before to shipping.
