I am very disappointed in this really useless piece. The gyro portion is way out of alignment (balance) and there is no way to correct that---it's glued together. This causes a dreadful vibration when you spin the thing up. The vibration causes the thing to travel around the table while on the base---it's really useless. The cheap toy gyroscopes we played with as kids are far better made.Think about it. If it's way out of balance, it really defeats the purpose. Junk.
